Who I Am
My name is Savanna Lee and I was born and raised in Madison, Wisconsin. I found my love of photography during high school as a contributor to my school's yearbook. This is something I grew to love and knew I wanted to pursue in one way or another, so majoring in Communication Arts (Radio-TV-Film) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison was an easy decision.
During my time there I spent three years working for the Wisconsin Union as a photography intern where I was able to grow my skills as a photographer by attending and capturing different social and cultural events. Halfway through college is when I began taking film production classes and confirmed that this was the path I wanted to go down. Working behind a camera. The highlight of my college experience was being selected by my professors as Director of Photography in my advanced motion picture class where I was able to work with eight other students on our short film ‘Tuned In.’
After graduating in the spring of 2024 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts and a certificate in Digital Cinema Production, I wanted a place to showcase all of the great work I was able to create with the world, and open myself up to new opportunities to come.
Thank you, and enjoy!
